The bar and grounds close at 5, not 6 pm (like Google says) in February. The bar owner was very sweet. She asked if we needed anything and let us stay a few extra minutes to look at the view of the lake.
The drive up to the lake and the grill is picturesque and lovely! Drive slow and enjoy magnificent views of the countryside farms, hay bales, and the calm waters of the lake. There are picnic tables outside, a lovely bench by the lake, and boats to rent out. The staff was extremely polite and accommodating. Had the entire place for myself on a week day during lunchtime. Amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed my time here :)
It’s definitely a good spot for disconnecting from the city crowds, they have simple menu and bites but it’s good stuff, you can also buy your fishing pass , rent a paddle boat , or you can just simply bring your own food and have a picnic there .

Beautiful little place on the lake with a great view. Breakfast was good. Nothing fancy. The people were very friendly. You can rent a kayak or small boat. Also has a boat ramp. Great place to visit.
Old school little restaurant. Usually one older guy taking orders and running the cash register, and one person cooking the orders. A few tables inside and out on the deck facing the lake. Ordered the cheese steak and onion rings. The food was great and the ambiance as well. Would definitely recommend.
Went didn’t eat. We rented kayaks . The view is beautiful, such a peaceful place. Customer service was great! Definitely coming back
